Why purpose?

 

I found that one of the most frustrating parts of my own journey was my search for purpose, and yet it has been one of the most rewarding and freeing. I now have a much better understanding of purpose, and what it means to me at least.

 

I love helping people uncover their unique sense of purpose. I see it come up time and time again in coaching sessions because it is something many of us struggle with, and yet purpose in life is so important. So, why am I so passionate about helping others find purpose in life?

​

Well, firstly, because I have been there and I know how hard, draining and time consuming it can be to find your unique purpose in life. 

​

Secondly, because research shows that people with purpose in life are more likely to:

​

  • live longer,

  • experience less depression, anxiety and stress,

  • enjoy more happiness and improved well-being &

  • enhance the lives of those around them*

​

On the flip-side, if you're struggling to find your sense of purpose, this can have a detrimental and negative impact on wellbeing. You, like me, might feel frustrated, worried, anxious, unfulfilled and dissatisfied with life.  The search for purpose may also become all-consuming, which can impact other areas of your life. 

​

Although it might not seem too critical when you're younger, a lack of purpose can have a more significant impact on your well-being in later life*. 

​

The good news is, the sooner you discover yours, the sooner you can start making the changes you want in your life & start living in alignment with your true self!
